Discover the Redwoods
Join me as I journey up the coast of California. From Big Sur to Humboldt County, from Julia Pfeiffer State Park to Muir Woods to Avenue of the Giants. John Muir had it right when he said "And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul." The redwoods are a special place.

This is a virtual presentation I've put together to showcase some of the areas around the California Coast where you can get up close and personal with a redwood tree. Many of these places I have seen while on tour. Not only will I show photos, but I'll talk about John Muir and his role to help save the redwoods, and I'll share what I have discovered about the early logging days in the lumber town of Scotia. To walk among the redwoods is one of the greatest joys in life. It takes your breath away when you are standing next to one of these ever-living trees and realize that they are some of the oldest living things on earth, and they are the tallest living things on earth. It is a humbling experience.
